Is there a way to get the smoke from a fire smell out of my upholstered Jeep Grand Cherokee? My Jeep was getting repaired at a shop and the shop caught on fire over the weekend, with my Jeep in it. No damage from the fire to the vehicle, but the smell from the smoke is overwhelming. The fire department used an “ionizer” or something like that, which appeared to work to some extent, but the smell is still there and I cant’ stand it! Help!
The shop owes you the cost of having the interior “detailed” to get rid of the smoke smell. If they balk at your request, remind them that they can add this expense to their insurance claim relating to the fire.
