Background, 2005 Silcerado Z71 4dr, 45000 miles.
I have been having vibrations in the steering wheel when braking while going 40+ MPH. I have heard the brakes on the silverados are generally bad; in particular the rotors.
I am thinking of replacing the rotors and pads with after-market equipment, but dont want to spend the dough the problem is somewhere else.
Has anyone else with a silverado had a similar issue and or fix?
