Should you do an engine flush on a car. 50k
Flush what? The engine oil? No! The coolant? Yes! Brake fluid, Yes!
Yes the engine. Why ?
Who is telling you that you need an engine flush ? And do they have some kind of name for this service ?
Reading on internet about it. Can’t get a firm answer either way. It’s just called engine flush.
Well , if it is on the internet then it has to true . NOT !
Forget it and just follow the service schedule in your manual.
You didn’t answer my question. Engine oil flush or engine coolant flush. 2 different things with 2 different answers. Rather than asking if its needed, you might try asking what it is since you don’t appear to know.
Engine oil flush is using solvents added to the engine oil right before you change the oil. Don’t do this. If you want a definitive answer, read your owners manual and try and find the section where it says the car needs an engine oil flush at 50K. You won’t find it.
Cooling system flush is the draining of coolant, flushing with clean water and refilling with the proper mix of water and coolant. That is useful.
