i recently installed a new cd player in my 2000 mitsubishi mirage and some wires got shorted out, now my car will not start without a jump. i have checked all the fuses and they all seem good. not sure if it could be the alternator?
Best Buy sells adapter wiring harness for the installation of cd players. Did you cut “a bunch of wires” to install the cd player? If so, install the adapter wire harness and reconnect the cut wires.
It could be that your car things someone tried to steal it and is now in shut down mode. Your owner’s manual should have some information on this if your car has that feature.
