Hi, I just bought a 1968 malibu el camino, and am working on the wiring. I found that the backup lights don’t work. This is a 327 2 speed powerglide car (same year eng trans). There are two a couple problems that I will list off in case they are related.
The first thing is the backup lights
the second thing is that the shift indicator (park n d 1) does not work.
third thing is the cutout for the ignition (so you can’t start it in gear) does not work. It will crank in any gear.
fourth thing is that the dash lights don’t work (although the taillights and blinkers work fine).
any tips would be great. Thanks!
