2004 dodge 2500(?)w/lift kit right speed hit bump right…front end shake horribly…any ideas??
Is there a steering damper on this truck?
If so, is it working correctly?
Sounds like the dreaded “death wobble”. It’s a big problem with lifted Jeeps. In general it can be caused by a weak steering damper, unbalanced wheels, or if the steering geometry is less than perfect after a lift. Your best bet is to look on an off-road web-site or a Dodge Truck web-site for advice on this.
