Hi, It rained 10 inches here, after the deluge, I tried to start my truck, and it would not turn over, I opened the hood let it dry out all day, and it did start, now the service engine light is on and wont go off? Any suggestions??

It is hard to say what is happening without knowing what fault code is turning on the CEL light. You could have the codes read at a parts store like Autozone for free and let us know what they are. I suspect the code may go away after a little driving time. Never drive through water higher than the bottom of the axles.
I’m not sure if we have an auto zone here, but I’ll look. I actually wasn’t driving, it was sitting in the driveway for 2 days while it was raining.
