Sensitive steering on 3/4 ton chevy truck

My 1997 3/4 ton silverado chevy truck seems to have very sensitive steering-Meaning it responds to any slight wheel movement. My chevy (1999) van is much less sensitive-

Any ideas? I have had this truck for 9 years and it seems different now than in past.

Have you had the wheel alignment checked?

Have an alignment shop check the caster setting. Too much negative caster can cause the symptoms you describe.

So can toe-out…Have the alignment checked…

Worn out idler arm can do it if you have one.
