I recently bought a 1994 Saab 9000-CSE. I have the correct radio code, as verified by the dealership, but when i try and type it in the display goes right back to saying “CODE”. If i type in an incorrect password, the display continues to show the incorrect code and beeps constantly. I have talked to the previous owner as well as a Saab dealership to try and find out what is wrong. Both suggested leaving the car running for an hour to reset the radio then try again, this fails to work. I have also tried disconnecting the battery entirely but that also does not work. I would appreciate any information on how to fix this problem.
