my 2005 toyota tacoma is making a low rumble/vibration when i get to about 55 mph. the rumble goes away if i turn the steering wheel to the right by about 20-30 degrees. is this a dangerous situation? can i take a 600 mile trip before addressing it?
What you describe could point to a worn front wheel bearing. You don’t want to take a 600 mile trip with a worn wheel bearing.

I agree. Rumbling and vibration are signals that something is wrong. See a good mechanic.
Most likely a bad wheel bearing. Get it fixed before your trip or risk not completing the trip.
