I drive a 1977 Datsun B210, and I have noticed an awful lot of road noise. I will shortly be replacing the carpet in the car, and I wonder if there might be some kind of insulation that I could put in under the carpet to reduce the road noise.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Dynamat makes an excellent sound and heat insulating material. Most car audio shops that I know stock it in some form or another, take a look. (No affiliation with dynamat…)
