I have a 2002 Kia Rio. I changed the rear (drum) brakes 3 weeks ago. In the last week and a half, I have noticed an increasing amount of noise that seems to be coming from the rear driver side wheel. It’s now loud enough that I can’t ignore it anymore. As a “learn-as-I-go” mechanic, I was surprised to find I had to remove the assembly/part with the bearings on it to get the drum off (my other, American, car does not work this way). I am concerned that I got the nut back on either too tight or too loose and this is affecting the wheel. What do you think? Thanks.
