Just had the battery replaced in my '96 Toyota Avalon & now the radio won’t operate, it just displays SEC (security??). What’s more, the auto-retracting antennae is always in the up position. Any ideas on what to do to reset the radio?
There will be a reset code that you must enter. Hopefully someone wrote the code in your owners manual…Lacking the code, call a dealer and ask what they will charge to reset your radio.
