I need to take my car (Mini Cooper) to a trusted body shop in Northern Virginia. I have used a mechanism, referred by this community, and have been very pleased. Any referrals that you can provide on body shops in Northern Virginia would be greatly appreciated!

The best references comes from friends and family. It’s doesn’t matter what make or model the car is because sheet metal is sheet metal.
mechanism ? I assume you meant mechanic, if so he would be the first person I would ask for a body shop referral .
Yelp has ratings for body shops.
Rays Auto Body in Vienna. They are a bit on the expensive side, but did very nice work. This was about 5 years ago, they did some work on my dads car.
I used to have good luck with Vienna Auto Body.
If Laurel, MD is not too far out of the way, I had insurance work done at Gerber Collision and Glass. Since it was insurance work, I don’t know about price, but the repairs were excellent.
You don’t say where you live or work, so Laurel might be an option (or might not).
