I love my remote start. I don’t have a garage, so when there’s frost on the windshield, I turn the car on from inside the house and let it warm up a bit to clear some of the frost off. When I go to leave for work, I scrape what’s left off then leave.
There’s also been a few times where the frost has been on the inside of the car, so scraping would be an act of contortion I am incapable of doing.
,The dealer wants over $500 to install a remote control. Glass Pro is asking $219. Don’t know what way to go
Well since you drug an old thread and did not say what your vehicle is or what year and wether it is still under warranty it is hard to give an answer . My personal opinion is that if it is not factory equipped to start with don’t do it . There are just too many stories about problems later on.
My car is a 2017 Ford Escape. Bought last April
Then your vehicle is still under warranty if you have any one but the dealer do it you could have warranty problems in the future.
