my vehicle has factory installed starter. at times, (mostly cold <20 it wont start.replaced battery,and unit still same issue.dealer finds nothing wrong—has excellent remote range and starts without repeated attempts most of the time.
What DOES happen when you attempt start? What sounds, or lights, are there? Details help.
the motor cranks,the headlights lite, and the engine turn just to the point of starting. its as if its not getting gas. if the heater blower was left on,that also runs regardless if it starts. i have noticved that if i wait severla minutes and try again it generally starts on the 2nd attempt.thanks
