If she likes it she should get a pre purchase inspection. The Carfax is no guarantee.
@Drifter62
Would the Impala have a Chevy warranty?
Or an aftermarket warranty?
What information is on the CarFax? If all the service (oil, filters, possibly tire rotation) is not listed with mileage, it is incomplete. These items would be listed if a dealer serviced the car. If not, a prepurchase inspection is a must.
@db4690, if I’m not mistaken, the '07 Impala will have a limited manufacturer warranty through the dealer, where she has been a repeat customer.
Right now, she is in the process of buying the Impala, just waiting for her insurance check. She really likes the car, but says it’ll just take some getting used to a considerably larger car than her Aveo. She likes the power from the Impala’s 3.5L V-6 too, and it’ll still get her some decent gas mileage.
The Impala is a very nice car (my co-worker has one) make sure that all the services are up to date and it should serve her well. As long as she’s happy with the car that’s the most important thing.
@Drifter62
Once your girlfriend gets used to the Impala’s size, she’ll QUICKLY forget she ever had an Aveo
LOL
I’d want to forget I’d ever owned a Daewoo, too
