I have replaced the window regulator on both back windows twice each within 2 years. Mechanic said that Mercedes made them poorly and suggested I not use the back windows anymore. What’s the deal. Is there a better fix and is this problem commom? Thanks.
It’s my understanding that it is a common problem with the rear windows on your car because of the cable type regulators that they use (the fronts are different and should not have that issue). I don’t know of a solution. Of course, I also don’t remember the last time I opened my rear windows.
