how much of a safety issue is a broken rear suspension anchor?
how much should it cost to get it fixed?
I’m not exactly sure what that part is, but if it ‘anchors’ part of the rear suspension to the body, and it’s broken, it could be a major safety issue. No idea on $$
Let me pose a question to the OP:
If your rear axle suddenly decided to part company with the car at high speed, don’t you think that this would be a safety issue?
If you agree with texases and me that this is a significant safety issue, then I would suggest getting a second opinion on this diagnosis, and if the second opinion is the same as the first, get the suspension repaired a.s.a.p.
Is “Broken” the correct term? Would “Rusted away” be more accurate?
