Driver’s side won’t lock automatically when I start the car. Also have to push inside button twice to lock it. Remote won’t lock or unlock that door.
Your lock rod inside the drivers door seems to have come off. Many times the little plastic retaining clip breaks or fails someway and the lock rod will come unseated. Its either that or some other rod on that door has come loose and is getting in the way of smooth operation of the lock mechanism… You can repair this yourself by removing the interior door panel and poking around in there…fairly easy to do it yourself…At least give it a looksie
If the rod came off, why would it work with a second press? Also, the remote does work to lock/unlock but I have to press the button twice. Key in lock will unlock first try. If something was disconnected, doesn’t make sense it would work second time.
