About five months ago I had a bad battery replaced and brand new cables were put in as well.
The car runs fine but I don’t drive it a great deal. I’ve noticed that when I do drive it, I’ll sometimes notice that the clock has reset as well as the presets on the radio.
Any help is most appreciated.
There is a lead going to the radio that should have power on it at all times to keep the memory in the radio alive. If there isn’t any power interuption, like a dead battery, then the memeory in the radio may be bad.
Instead of connecting the “always hot” lead to the battery, they connected it to a switched connection…live only when ignition is on.
