I attempted to replace the right rear power door lock actuator on my '97 Accord SE. (It locks and unlocks OK but makes a loud buzzing sound upon locking.) I removed the inner door panel, the 3 screws that hold the actuator on the door frame, and released the actuator rods from the actuator, but was not able to coax the actuator from the door due to the nearby window track. Does the track HAVE to be removed?
Even the factory service manual doesn’t have instructions for this.
