i got a grand prix supercharged that has a bad miss even worse when the supercharger is engaged. which one of the five hundred sensors could be causing the problem?
Some details would be helpful, such as:
Model year?
Odometer mileage?
Are you using gas of the octane specified in the Owner’s Manual?
Is the Check Engine Light (CEL) illuminated? If so, for how long?
When were spark plugs, plug wires, air filter, and fuel filter last replaced?
its a 97 with 130k ive recently changed the plugs, wires, fuel filter and replaced a couple vacum hoses and ive run 93 octane with occacional bottle of cleaner. The computer sayes its missing on #2 ive swaped coils with no change to the same cylinder missing it seems like more than one but the computer only picks up #2. im thinking it might be a intake gasket or pluged exhust ive unhooked the suppercharger and it dont miss as bad. it will also spit back through the intake once in a while with the charger hooked up.
When you swapped coils, were you sure the swapped coil was a known-good one? Putting another busted coil on #2 isn’t going to make it work any better.
Have you looked at the #2 injector?
