have been having problems starting my 98 neon.I replaced the fuel pump at my mechanics request,and am still having same problem.It starts fine the first attempt,but after driving,shutting off car and restarting is where my problem is.Sounds like it gets plenty from battery and starter seems ok.What else could it be?
You need to get to the basics. When it doesn’t start, does it have fuel and spark? I"m betting it is missing one of them.
