Wondering, have folk here had success getting a new car dealer to let you take a used car for a PPI? What did they require?
I’ve asked for and received permission to take a used vehicle home and give it a once over. This would normally take about 3-4 hours.
I think it varies by dealer though. I can certainly understand why some dealers would balk at allowing this.
People have been known to take a car for a thorough inspection and swap parts out. In one case it was a transmission. The car was returned because “the transmission is acting up”…
