I had a new power steering pump installed in my 2002 Suburban by a shop because it was leaking ($350). Soon afterward I was told by the dealer it was still leaking. I took it back to the shop where the work was done and they confirmed the leak. Since their work and parts are guaranteed for one year, I assumed this repair would be free. When I went to pick it up, they charged me $213 for a PS pump actuator and claimed it had nothing to do with the earlier leak and repair. They never told me there was going to be a charge and even said it was under warranty when I first took it back to them. Did I get taken or are they on the up and up?
