I have a 1989 Audi 100 - The car keeps blowing power steering pumps (3 in the last two weeks so far - so far the pumps are warranteed so I have only paid for one but the next one is going to be on me if it blows - mechanic says if we don’t replace the pressure accumulator this new pump will blow as well). My mechanic has already replaced the brake master cylinder, and then the high pressure damper hose - now tells me the problem is the pressure accumulator. I feel like we are chasing a problem he can’t seem to resolve. Any suggestions as to the cause of this problem? Thanks
