I have a 2004 vibe, white in color with 90k miles. I have noticed that the white paint is not shiny on most of the car (roof,tailgate and sides). The only shiny spot is the hood. Does that mean the clearcoat is gone or just needs a good waxing? Thanks. I have heard that GM white paints has never lasted well. Thanks for ur help.

Agreed. Give your car a good waxing. And don’t believe those rumors about GM white. Nobody else has problems with their white cars.
Did you buy this car new? Maybe the hood was repainted.
