Plastic down carb throat

Hi,

As part of winterizing my ski boat with a Chev 350 325hp engine I fogged the engine. The fogger spray has a plastic tube extension for directing the spray. You guessed it. When spraying down the carb throat the plastic tube came off and was sucked down the carb. I opened the butterfly and looked down with a flashlight, but couldn’t see anything. The engine was hot and running when I sprayed, so it probably melted somewhere. It is still running OK, but what do I have to look forward to?

Thanks

It probably melted and the gooey bits were burned and sent out the exhaust. If you can’t see it in the carb (ie it made it through and in to the manifold), I think you’re fine.
