Hi everyone,
I’ve got a Peugeot 2008 MK1 with a 1.6 VTi engine. Usually, it misfires on cold start for a few seconds, then runs fine.
However, today it misfired as usual but continued misfiring, the cooling fan turned on, and the Check Engine light came on.
If anyone could help, I’d really appreciate it.

This is mostly a USofA forum and Peugeot has not been sold here for decades. If you have the codes read and post them here maybe one of the excellent mechanics that post here may have an idea. Since misfires are not good your best move is to find an independent shop where ever you are.
Of course, find out what the codes are and post them here…
What was causing this?? You never did respond…
… or, simply have the car towed to a competent mechanic’s shop.
Things may well be different in the OP’s country, but here in The US it is possible to have the Diagnostic Trouble Codes “read” free-of-charge at an auto parts shop. If the same arrangement exists in the OP’s home country–and if he is capable of repairing the car himself–then the first step is to have those codes read.
