Chevrolet S10 - intermittently will not start
appears to be the security system - just started happening after owning truck for 3 years
WHAT?
Possible damaged key (the ignition doesn’t recognize the key so the security system won’t let it start)
Low battery in remote.
The vehicle is 1998 Chevy S10; have tried other keys; no remote; it’s intermittently not allowing the truck to start and idle. Erratic flash on security light - the 10 minute reset does not do anything. Baffled! Anyway to get around this system?
