Overheating

Hi. I had my car overheat, and 2 shops told me it was the fanclutch. I replaced it and still doing it. I replaced the termostat , it still doing it. I had a cooling system service, it still overheats. I also replaced the serpentine belt and A/C belt. I dont think it’s the waterpump, because there are no leaks and i have to go 50-60 miles an hour and come to a red light in order for the thing to overheat. I got a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, 3.5 V-6. Any ideas?

This sounds like a radiator problem to me. It may be partially plugged internally so that it doesn’t have enough cooling capacity. I don’t know if there exist radiator shops that “rod out” radiator cores anymore, so you may have to replace the radiator. The radiator also may be plugged externally by bugs. This is simple to handle–take a garden hose with a nozzle or an air hose and from under the hood, blast the bugs out the front.
