This is a 2001 Chevrolet Impala with around 52,000 miles on it. One bright light will not light up. I can see that some one replaced the lamp on the driver side and that lamp will light up when it gets 12V. The wires going to the light do not have power on when brights are turned on. It has a Pink and Blue wire to this socket. The pasenger side works but has a Blue and Orange wire. What would be the next thing to check?
Fuses.
Then relays. Swap them over to see if the problem moves.
Then wiring continuity.
I found the problem. The day time running light relay was only a Single pole single throw. It requires a Single pole double throw. (4 pin relay not the 5 pin relay) Thanks for the help.
