What would make the oil pressure gauge fluctuate and go to zero? I already replaced the oil sending unit, and changed the oil and filter, whats left? maybe a bad gauge? Thanks sharon

Tester is mostly right. But the most obvious thing left is poor oil pressure pressure.

Could be a bad gauge. Could also be the engine is actually losing oil pressure and is grinding itself into scrap metal every time you run it.
The next thing is to install a manual pressure gauge on the engine and verify oil pressure as being good or bad. If you can’t do this yourself have it done at a local garage. Immediately.
