So I put one more extra quart or oil in accidently, and my car started being sluggish while trying to accelerate, no backfiring, just some gray smoke, then the smoke went away, and it stopped being sluggish, the boys at work are emptying out the oil right now, is this normal? Like, the car is working perfectly fine now…
You must likely pushed a little oil up thru the crankcase venting syatem. Though normally only a quart over won’t have an effect.
The car should be fine, but give it a day or two.
They would only have had to drain out a quart. Or you could have taken it somewhere and they could have used their evacuator to suck a quart out of the dip stick tube.
