1993 Toyota truck over 250,000 miles on the 4 cylinder. 1st symptom trk stalled during deceleration; 2nd symptom no oil on dipstick and a bunch of oil in radiator and radiator overflow container.
Sounds like a rare type of head gasket failure or an internal cracked block, also very rare. Whatever, it sounds like the end of the line…
Alldata source indicates that this 22RE engine has an oil cooler. The parts explosion does not indicate where that is. Many times it is at the base of the oil filter. You might check to see if this is leaking because the differential in pressure between the oil system and the cooling system favors pumping the oil into the coolant.
