The odometer and tripmeter on the 1995 Mustang Coupe have stopped working. When I recently filled the gas tank, I set the tripmeter back to zero. Now the odometer and tripmeter are at 59784 and zero repectively. How do I return them to working order?
If I understand correctly, now the odometer is recording miles but the tripmeter is not? Both of these feed off the same vehicle speed sensor signal, so it has to be defective in the instrument itself. You’re looking at a replacement instrument cluster.
