Not a question, just a proud dad

I want to offer my sincere thanks to all of you for your comments.

McP, the answer is “yup…and he’ll probably start correcting ME too”!!!

Thank you Newpony and all the rest of you who’ve served.

I don’t know what vehicles he’ll be working on but nomatter.

As a 'Nam vet, it’s truely heartwarming for me to hear all the great support for the military guys now. All your comments have gone straight to home. The world is truely a better place.

Thanks again

Tell your son “Thank You” for serving.

Isn’t it GREAT. When I came home from Nam…I was called a baby killer…Most civilians HATED me. I couldn’t wait to grow my hair back so I didn’t look like I was in the Military.

I will be sure to pass on all of your thanks yous.

Again,
Thanks

I had no idea this post would raise this much emotion.

I should also mention that my daughter got beautiful tattoos on her arm with an Air Force fighter with my (late) dad’s name and Army Air Corps years (the last years of WWII), my name and my AF years, and a ship with her brother’s name and the year he entered the Navy, all to honor our service.

Sweetie, if you read this I love you too and am as proud of you as I am of your brother.

Love,
dad

that’s great - congrats to him and tell him thanks for helping to keep us free.

Congrats from a Navy Vet, and please give him my thanks for serving.
