I sold cell pones in the early days, size of a brick they were and had to have an 8x10" transceiver in the trunk.
Thanks jt! I had already run over to COSTCO and purchased the little beauty. So, after I read your message I checked Verizon.
No contest. The Costco deal was waaay better, several hundred dollars. Anyhow, I guess Verizon knew I got a new phone when the service was updated, and invited me for free tech help, should I need it.
I had to go buy a USB-C charger to go with the cord provided by Samsung. I havenāt tried setting up the new phone, yet, still back in its box, (too busy having fun), and Iāve left my old vacated phone at condo and have been going around with no phone.

I wasnāt suggesting you buy from Verizon, just check what phones were available while you had plenty of time to compare them. OBE! I hope the new phone works out for you.
I realized that and I thanked you. I have a couple weeks to see if I like it. It can be returned. It didnāt get great reviews on Verizonās site, but most things people found fault with are things I wouldnāt use or care about.
Again, Thank You jt for the great suggestion. After the purchase, with your suggestion, I compared Verizonās price (whichever one I can believe) and the best deal of three was $300 over COSTCO and the worst was $500.
Compared with my old dinosaur phone Iām sure I will absolutely like it. I didnāt want a new one, I needed a new one. It was time. Iām not going to concern myself with a stupid phone. Life is too short and Iāll choose where to spend my time. VDC driverās suggestion made my decision easier. I had something to motivate me to do it.

Get a wireless charger for your new phone, like hyper miling, I get 4 to 6 days on a charge. Phones were under my domain and had to replace a few connection boards for the charger.
This was for decades the highway from Atlanta/Birmingham west to Memphis and beyond
When I learned to drive there were gravel drive arounds for trucks over 13ā6"high but long trailers with the rear axles extended that were lower than the bridge needed to take the gravel also.
BTW, if you back up a few hundred yards the business that Scrapyard_John worked at seems to be on the right.
I wonder how @Scrapyard_John is doing, we havenāt heard from him in a long time.
