So after spending thousands of dollars having the $570 (or whatever) retractable bollards from Costco installed in your driveway, NOW the car thief’s will not only be breaking into your home to grab the key fob, NOW they will be staying even longer looking for the switch to lower the stupid retractable bollards…

They just need to crack down on crime and stop making the bad guys the victim…

Start shooting the scum bags and the word will spread…

Car thefts are a fraction of what they were years ago, I’m not going to lose sleep over it:

The 12 yo thieves in Detroit need to go somewhere to meet their quota. Windsor is a short drive.

If the car thieves are breaking into homes to steal the key fobs, and if they do not want to mess with finding the lock to the retractable bollards, they just need to pop the electric meter off the house. The retractable bollards automatically retract with a power failure…. The only one making out is Costco…

Unless it is hooked up to the back up generator with the rest of the house… lol

Good point, I had not considered that! But if a thief was going to all that trouble, and they were not a candidate for “America’s Dumbest Criminals…” they just might disable the generator too, kick your flower pots over, and for good measure smash your Garden Elf…

Didn’t think about killing the generator…

When the police chief throws up his hands and says leave your fob outside so the thieves don’t have to break into your house, you know it is time for a Canadian sea change. Canada used to be a great place but in one generation ruined it.
