But what about the more serious problem of your brakes?
If after above advice if you were fine with the radio, get a replacement from an auto recycler, ie salvage yard. Make sure the model of the radio is the same, some years are considered compatable but you may loose functionality of certain features.
As for the more serious problem with my breaks…
Repair shop would not address it, stating the accident/repair would of not impacted the breaks.
They do function fine, but it is a problem I’ll have to address asap. Truthfully it may have to hold out until winter tire season as financially its a bad time and the 1000$ for the post accident repaid kinda hit hard.
Your breaks can wait, but you have to fix the brakes IMHO. Put it on a credit card or borrow money if you have to, but this is a safety issue.
Yeah… It’s a sooner then later thing.
