I recently bought a 2005 Nissan Frontier pickup truck, and I’ve been searching everywhere for the correct owner’s manual but haven’t had any luck. The only manuals I’ve found online, including this one, are for the US models with QR25DE and VQ40DE engines. My truck, however, has:
Engine: QD32 (3.2L Diesel)
Transmission: Manual
Fuel Type: Diesel
I’ve searched through various websites, including eBay, but haven’t come across the right manual. At this point, I’m pretty desperate. If anyone has a source for the correct manual—whether a digital copy, a website where I can purchase one, or any other leads—I’d really appreciate it!
If you are in the US with a non US vehicle, then you might have to get in contact with a dealer i whatever country it is from for more info, or look for a forum(s) about your vehicle, they should be able to help you out more…
Strange, Napa pro website shows the 2 gas engine but only a 2.8L diesel engine and not the 3.2L for 2005, and in 2006 they show a 2.8 & 3.0L diesels, no diesels for 2003/2004 but in 2008 they show a 2.5, 2.7 & 3.0l diesels, but still no 3.2L diesels for a Frontier…
Where is it from???
I did, and one source says Nissan stopped production of the engine in 2000, others say 2007.. Commercial engine usage mainly in China, nowhere was it mentioned being used in a Frontier… I found a lot of conflicting information, but again, I am in the US and our search engines might differ from yours…
Have you seen other 3.2L Frontiers around you, are they common place in Suriname? Is it even called a Frontier in your part of the world??
Again, your best bet is to try to find a forum in or around your area that has other diesel Frontiers or whatever they are called for more info…
Look around these sites and or ask questions their, see if any help, look for more forums, might show more in your area while searching in your area…
Here are a few I found with a simple and quick google or duck duck go search… Good luck, I am afraid we can not be of much help to you given the limited info about your engine truck combo…
Yes, they are also called Frontiers here.
I’ve seen other Nissans with the same engine. I’ve also seen videos about them in Spanish speaking countries in South America.
Thanks for the links. I’ll check them out.
