When landlords stat losing significant business because they don’t have on site chargers, they will install them.

Yep, plugin hybrids take much less time/current to charge, doable on a 110 overnight. Need 240 for an EV. I was considering a Rav4 Prime until the shortages hit, I’m seeing regular Rav4s listed for $10k over MSRP, who know what they want for the Prime.
A significant amount of housing stock in the Buffalo area ha no off street parking because the houses were built before automobiles were common. These people would need cars that would charge in minutes for them to be practical.
Perhaps new super battery tech will be rolled out quickly that i affordable but I am skeptical.
There are BILLIONS of dollars being invested every year in EV and battery technology all over the world. I’m extremely optimistic that affordable fast charging EV’s will be here in my lifetime.
