I was recently reading about Ford bring back the festiva. Does anybody have any information they can share about this topic? Please let me know.
Thank’s
I think you mean the Fiesta, which is coming here early in 2010. Google it, you’ll find a number of reviews. It look like a fun, neat car. Here’s the Ford web site: http://www.fordvehicles.com/2011fiesta/?searchid=426441|32522973|210910854
Thank’s for the info! Sorry for the spelling error, had a long day!
No problem, there was a Ford Festiva, too, just not coming here in 2010.
With the Focus RS’s turbo engine and AWD. It could be a fun commuter car.
The Fiesta will be first and foremost an ECONMY CAR to allow Ford to meet the tightening CAFE fuel economy standards. That said, a small number of high performance models may be produced as well. The car will be built in Mexico to keep the cost down. Ford loses money on small cars built in the US.
I know. But with the demise of the Focus SVT. Ford has been without sport-compact. Which is a popular segment. A Fiesta with a 220-240 HP turbo 4 cylinder, AWD to counter the probable torque steer, 25 MPG, and a price tag of around $22k or so could be a world beater.
