New F150 Recall

A recall for F150 trucks with the Trailer Tow Max Duty package was issued because a rear axle hub bolt might fail. If that occurs, there is a roll away issue if the parking brake isn’t applied or there could be a loss of power to the rear wheels. Here’s a citation:

I’m trying to envision which bolt that would be that would cause such a symptom? The link seems to imply when this mystery bolt shears off, the axle shaft splines won’t mate with the rear differential side gears properly. I think the only bolt that could fail with that symptom on my own much older solid rear axle Ford truck would be one of the bolts that hold the wheel bearing in place, near the wheel end of the axle shaft . The only fasteners on the hub itself are the studs the lug nuts attach, and if one of those failed, while unfortunate things might well occur, it wouldn’t likely produce that same symptom.
