There have been countless times when I’ve used parts that were technically not for a specific application, but I was able to make it work, due to common sense and experience
But I have no experience with this particular Mazda 6 headlight situation
fwiw . . . Just because I’m able to make the “wrong” part work, doesn’t mean I expect everybody else will be able to do, as well. So there are situations where I keep silent, because I don’t want somebody to spend a bunch of money and then possibly come back and angrily say “I bought this because YOU said it would work and now I can’t return it”
Oh well. Ask a bunch of unknown people a question and you may get an answer you don’t want. Call me any time and you’ll get my free opinion. Sorry but it’s Minnesota.
I think ANYBODY should thank a person holding the door open for them . . . and if they get mad, instead, well, that would seem to say a lot about the person getting mad, imo
