I have a 2006 Chevrolet Impala that has developed a clicking sound that seems to be coming from the left rear, but only when the car is cold. Dealer said it was a heater hose and replaced it, but the noise still exists when car is cold. What might it be?
I have never heard a clicking noise coming from a heater hose, and I seriously doubt that your heater hoses are anywhere near the left rear area of your car!
My best guess is that your left rear brake mechanism is making this noise, but that is only a guess from afar. Perhaps you might want to clarify things with the dealership regarding what they replaced and why.
