I always thought Tom and Ray were a couple of clowns. In that spirit, I suggest “I Magliozzi” a play on the name of an opera, “I Pagliacci” which translates as “The Clowns”. It’s probably too esoteric a reference, but I’ve always wanted to refer to them as the Pagliacci brothers.
