Click & Clack’s Blazing Wrenches
Personally, I think Tom and Ray are classics. I like “The Brothers Rimm”
Nothing fancy and somewhat to the point, may I suggest:
“Click and Clack’s Leaky Tire Jack - [subtitle] Stories From Car Talk” (or other colorful adjective in place of Leaky).
Just a thought…opinions?
There is one phrase the screams Car Talk that I think would really communicate the feeling of the show:
“Don’t Drive Like My Brother”
how about rachet jaws
And Dont Drive like my Brother!
I suggest Wrench Monkeys, but of course!
Beavis and Gearhead
This Old Oil
Dukes of Harvard Square
Looney Car Tuners
Rocky and the guy full of Bullwinkle.
“Click-n-Clack” not original but its a classic name!
“Gear Guys!” as in Gear Guys Garage for gearheads and gals.
Can’t wait to see one of guys duct tape to the hood of a car listening for the mysterious noise.

I guess I’ll throw out the obvious…“car TOON talk”
I suggest the name Passing Gas!
The title of the Comedy could be “CarWatch Hotchpotch”. Interpretation : “Car” refers to a car show, Watch refers to a Television show, HotchPotch refers to it being a truly Mixed Bag of infotainment. If you don’t pick this, well…(better pick this!)…I know you will. Thanks,

Tom and Ray,
In times past, you referred to yourselves ans the Tappet brothers. Younger readers may not understand the significance of this as I doubt if there are any car or truck engines made today that actually have tappets. After all, tappets where adjustable mushroom shaped devices that sat between the camshaft and the valve stem on flat head engines. Todays engines use lifters, formerly solid, but today mostly hydraulic and therefore almost exclusively self - adjusting. Hydraulic lifters are common on pushrod engines. Overhead cam engines use a variety of devices to transmit the eccentric effect of the cam lobe.
While mushroom tappets have gone into the bin of automotive history along with DC generators, ignition points and carburetors, mushroom tappets were common when you, Tom and Ray, were new models, low these many years ago. Therefore, let use return to your names of yore, The Mushroom Tappet Brothers - two fine examples of a fungii! - Hudsonut
Tom and Ray, I know the name for your show has to be simple and straight forward so you both can remember it.
Plus the watchers and listeners can relate the show to you and your garage. How about " The Tappet Brothers Garage" or Tappets garage
or The Brothers Tappet If all else fails The Tappets Garage Radio Show.
Steve
