MAINTENANCE REQUIRED - I thought of this last one yesterday listening to Car Talk on a road trip. I looked down at my dash, and the MAINT REQD light was on. Now, the name not only describes what people need when they call you, but also what your show may need, as well. However, my first choice would be the first title. It just describes Tom and Ray and, I would imagine, the folks in their shop. We can’t wait to learn the name of your PBS show, but we’re even more excited to see it.

I’d go with something a little more in keeping with current TV titles. I assume the series will have a different problem each episode, like your typical sit-com or mystery or whodunit, so my top choice would be:
“Car Talk: Crank Cases”
“100 and 1 Uses for Black Electrical Tape”
“A Veritable Pas de Deux of Breathtaking Speculation”
“Wingnut Garage”
“Knucklehead Garage”
Hi T & R
(or maybe just one of you guys, because the other never works. yes?)
But Show name: “Off the Road, On the Air and Around the Corner”.
“Off, On and Around” for short.
“Last Chance Garage” but Garage is painted over the word “Saloon”
“Mama Mariazasa’s Boys” (How do you spell your last name?)
“We’re from MIT. Now what?”
“What is it Now?”
“A Colossal Waste of Time”
